The NRA Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training Course:
This virtual training program is designed to introduce the basic principles of marksmanship using a simulated pistol with a resetting trigger and laser to indicate where the shots hit. The NRA Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training Course teaches the fundamentals of sight alignment, trigger control, grip, and breath control. Students may attend this 3 hour course as a basis to decide whether or not they would like to follow-up by taking the full length Basic Pistol Course with live fire, or simply learn to improve their marksmanship skills.
Intro to Pistol:
This 4 hour introductory class will empower the student to safely and effectively understand and operate different types of pistols. Topics covered include: essential safety rules, different pistol types, how to load and unload semi-automatics and revolvers, ammunition components, selecting the right pistol for you, proper grip, trigger control, aiming fundamentals, shooting stances, holster options and skill development options.
NRA Basic Pistol:
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is the best way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting from the top firearms training organization in the world!
This is a two-part course consisting of an e-learning portion (Phase 1 completed online-in your own timeframe) and a hands-on practical portion (Phase 2) conducted at a range under the guidance and supervision of an NRA-Certified Instructor.
This easy-to-understand online training program allows you to go at your own pace and learn from the comfort of your own home. Simply go through the online course material, successfully complete the online exam, and you’ll receive your certificate of completion instantly.
Completion of both Phase 1 and Phase 2 count as 8 hours towards the Illinois required 16 hour concealed carry requirement.

Learn the history, operation, capabilities, and controls of Americas most popular sporting rifle! Topics covered include: Parts and controls identification and operation, field stripping, sight zeroing and intro to accessories. Rifle operations will be done using a laser bolt insert and simulator program.
